PURPOSE: To permit hand wash efficiently and save soap and water by providing exclusive sensing sections separately for three functions of soap and water discharge, hand wash water discharge and drying respectively and controlling each sensing section and performing the discharge of soap and water intermittently.
CONSTITUTION: A function mount section 7 is erected on the upper surface at the rear portion of a hand wash basin 6 and, on their front surface, a soap and water discharge nozzle 1d, a hand wash discharge outlet 2e and warm air nozzle 3c. Next, sensing sections 4a, 4b, 4c for them using infrared sensors exclusively by function are arranged by closely locating each of them to respective device, and each mechanism is operated through a control section 5 based on the sensing. And in this case, the soap and water discharge is intermittently performed at short time intervals. In this way, a timing to draw user's hand is given thereby preventing the consumption of soap and water more than necessary.
