Abstract:

To provide a handwritten input data processor in which a desired character string can be easily retrieved from plural handwritten input character strings.

A written character string handwritten inputted to a tablet 2a with an input pen 2b is segmented by line units by a measuring part 4, and transferred to a rearranging part 5. In the rearranging part 5, the length of the segmented written character string is measured, and the written character string and the length of the written character string are stored. The handwritten inputted written character string is displayed on an LCD 2c sequentially from the shortest character string or from the longest character string based on the length of the written character string according to a menu selected in a menu area B.
