PURPOSE: To write a legible character by providing a center line for dividing the inside of a quadrilateral frame into two in the upper and the lower horizontal directions, and vertical and horizontal direction lines for dividing it into three or more, and entering a character in accordance with these horizontal lines, vertical lines, etc.

CONSTITUTION: A handwritten character entry guide 11 is provided on a paper surface 12, and constituted by providing a rectangular entry frame 13, and an entry guide outer frame 14 provided on the inside of this entry frame 13. On the inside of the entry guide outer frame 14, vertical lines 15, 16, horizontal lines 17, 18, a center vertical line 19, and a center horizontal line 20 are provided by a drop-out color. A character is entered by utilizing an intersection and a branch point of each line and four corners of the entry guide outer frame 14, for constituting the handwritten character entry guide 11, for writing each character, and tracing on each line of the entry guide outer frame 14 W the center horizontal line 20. Also, by utilizing the intersection and the branch point of said each line and the corners of the entry guide outer frame 14, for the write end of the character, all handwritten characters in common use can be entered without an error.
