PURPOSE: To improve the handleability and the space utilization efficiency by forming a part of a hanging cupboard as a space part, constituting an elevation shelf so that it can be housed in the space part, and using a back part of the inner part side as the elevation shelf.

CONSTITUTION: Falling of an elevation shelf 2 is prevented by a shelf fastening fixture attached to the outside of both side faces of the upper part of the elevation shelf 2, and a shelf detaining fixture attached to a back housing part 1b. As for a storing 4, one end thereof is attached to about the center part of the upper part of the elevation shelf 2 and passes from a pulley 3a attached to the upper face plate 11 to a pulley 3b of a side face part and becomes a state that it hangs down to the left side face of a hanging cupboard 1. To the other end part of the string 4, and to the middle part, a grip 5, and a string fastening fixture 7 are attached, a respectively, and the string fastening fixture 7 exists immediately before the pulley 3b of the upper corner part of the hanging cupboard 1. When the grip 5 of the string 4 is drawn down, the elevation shelf 2 is all housed in the back housing part 1b and the string fastening fixture 7 is detained to a string detaining fixture 6 and fixed in a state that it is housed in the hanging cupboard 1. Also, by drawing down the string 4 and detaching the string fastening fixture 7 from the string detaining fixture 6, the elevation shelf 2 can be brought down.
