Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a hard disk enabling a high density of recording in a small size by eliminating a phenomenon such as damage on a disk surface caused by contact of a slider with the magnetic disk surface in a hard disk device being an external record device of a computer. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic disk 2 and the slider 3 are provided at a position having a gap of more than tens mum at a non-operation time against the magnetic disk. A leaf spring part 4 attached with the slider 3 is attracted by a drive electrode 6 provided at a tip part of an arm 5 and generating an electrostatic force at an operation time, then the gap between the slider 3 and the magnetic disk 1 is surely held even at less than a submicron milimeter and without damaging the magnetic disk surface the operation can be performed.
