Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a hardness meter in which the setting of measuring point can be facilitated at the time of remote operation and the burden on an operator can be lessened at the time of manual operation.
CONSTITUTION: A revolver 4 comprising an object lens and a presser is provided with a mirror 4D for reflecting the image of a test piece T to the side thereof. A monitor camera 7 is disposed at a position for picking up the image of test piece reflected on the mirror 4D and the image thus picked up is displayed on a monitor 8. A measuring point is set while displaying the reflected image and enlarged image of test piece T on the monitor 8 by switching the revolver 4.
