Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a head supporting mechanism capable of stably floating a core slider while reducing a floating amount.
CONSTITUTION: The head supporting mechanism is provided with the core slider in which an electromagnetic conversion section reading and writing data to a magnetic disk is formed at a top end and a spring part energizing the core slider toward the magnetic disk. In the head supporting mechanism, a bend part 16 which brings the electromagnetic conversion section 13 of the core slider 11 close toward the magnetic disk 12 is also provided at a part except the spring part 15 thereof.
