Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device capable of displaying an information notification image in a virtual image in a manner securely making an occupant notice the image.SOLUTION: A head-up display device 100 is mounted in a vehicle A, and displays a virtual image 60 visible to a driver. The head-up display device 100 comprises: a display unit 40 projecting beams of an image 70 to form the virtual image 60; and a combiner unit 20 which is disposed independently from a windshield 13. The combiner unit is provided with a plurality of projection regions 30 onto which beams of mutually different images 70 are projected by the display unit 40. The projection regions 30 forms images of the beams of the respective images 70 projected by the display unit 40, at image formation positions at mutually different distances from the respective projection regions 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
