To provide a method for preparing a headrest wherein there exists no possibility of leakage of a foamable stock soln. from a pouring hole which serves both a frame inserting hole and the pouring hole for the foamable stock soln. and is excellent for hermeticity and a partial overlapping part is prevented from being generated and snaking and failure of appearance such as lifting are prevented from being generated due to difference in foaming pressure.
The one end edge 12a of a pouring hole 12 of a skin material 11 of a headrest is folded back to the inside and the first sewn part 14 is formed by performing a folded-back sewing only on the one end edge 12a side of the hole 12. The end part being on the extended line in the left and right direction of the hole 12 and the folded sewing of the one end edge 12a side of the pouring hole 12 form the second sewn part 16 wherein the folded sewing of the one end edge 12a is brought into contact with the surface side of another end edge 12b and both end edges 12a and 12b are integrally sewn.
