Abstract:
To provide a heat-sensitive expanding material excellent in respective capacities such as sealability, soundproof properties, heat insulating properties or the like, also excellent in the mounting work to respective treatment regions, requiring no special material or equipment at the time of production and obtained inexpensively.
The heat-sensitive expanding material expanded from a compressed state by heat is constituted by impregnating a foam material comprising a crosslinked rubber with a crystalline thermoplastic resin or the crystalline thermoplastic resin and wax and compressing the impregnated foam material.
