To prepare a sheet, having a uniform metallic lustrous surface and stabilized in design of warp and weft yarns without any bowing or deformation and good in handleability as a heat shielding sheet used for the purpose of heat shielding, light screening, heat reserving properties, durability and insect repellency, etc., in the agricultural or livestock industrial fields.

This heat shielding sheet is obtained by joining a warp and weft crossover parts of a knitted or a woven fabric composed of a conjugated yarn 1 comprising a core layer 2 of a high-melting component and an outer layer 3 of a low-melting component such as a conjugated yarn or a conjugated monofilament yarn according to thermal fusing, using the resultant material as a sheet substrate and forming a metallic layer on the surface of the sheet substrate according to a sputtering vapor deposition method.
