Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a heat-shrinkable film which is free from occurrence of gel and hard spots, can be produced without compulsory orientation, has good transparency and high gas barrier properties and exhibits excellent stretchability, heat shrinkability, dimensional stability and organic solvent resistance.
CONSTITUTION: This film has at least one layer of a composition consisting of 10-95wt.% ethyelene/vinyl alcohol copolymer (a) and 5-90wt.% polyolefin (b) having at least one functional group selected from a boronic acid group, a borinic acid group, and a boric group that can be added to a boronic acid group or a borinic acid group in the presence of water, or a composition consisting of the component (a), the component (b) and a thermoplastic resin (c), with the total of the components (b) and (c) being 5-90wt.% and the weight ratio of the component (b) to the component (c) being at least 1:99, and it has a longitudinal and/or transverse shrinkage factor of at least 10% when immersed in hot water at 90°C for 1min.
