Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform drying operation according to the degree of humidity of an object to be dried such as clothing and an indoor environment, and to save running costs.SOLUTION: A heating dryer includes humidity-detecting means for detecting the humidity of a suction air. A hot air drying operation comprises: a first preliminary hot air drying operation to be executed for a predetermined time successively subsequent to a blowing air drying operation; a second preliminary hot air drying operation to be executed for a predetermined time successively subsequent to a blowing air drying operation performed after the first preliminary hot air drying operation; and a main hot air drying operation to be executed successively subsequent to a blowing air drying operation performed after the second preliminary hot air drying operation. In the heating dryer, a time (TX) for executing the main hot air drying operation is set according to a humidity difference in such a manner that the larger a difference obtained by subtracting from the detected humidity (one humidity) in the first preliminary hot air drying operation, the detected humidity (the other humidity) in the second preliminary hot air drying operation becomes, the shorter the time (TX) becomes, and compensates the time (TX) according to a temperature of hot water supplied from a heat source device.
