PURPOSE: To obtain simple and safe loading in an arrangement where heavy objects such as blocks for a plant are loaded in a boat such as a barge through a rampway, by standing a stay at the ground below that end of rampway nearer the boat.
CONSTITUTION: A rampway 15 is bridged over the stern of a barge 13 and the warf 14 horizontally to begin loading of blocks 11 for a plant. At the ground below that end of rampway 15 nearer the barge 13, a rampway stay 16 is installed in such a way that a gap is provided between the top of this stay and the rampway 15 placed about horizontally. Then, trucks 12 bearing the block 11 are moved toward the barge 13 through the rampway 15. Load to the barge 13 becomes larger as the trucks 12 are moved further onto the barge and, thereby the stern goes down gradually. When the rampway 15 has come in contact with the stay 16, the buoyancy of the barge shall be adjusted and, further, the trucks 12 are moved onto the barge 13.
