To provide a hermetic type compressor which realizes highly reliable design of a spring by reducing the spring load of a spring that presses a vane against a piston that forms a compressing element that is enclosed inside an airtight container from behind and reducing torsional stress that is generated while the spring is in motion.
Two or more springs with different outer diameters for pressing the vane against the piston that forms the compressing element enclosed inside the airtight container from behind are inserted into spring holes of a cylinder. By this structure the spring load required for one spring can be reduced, reducing the torsional stress generated while each spring is in motion, thereby highly reliable design of the spring can be realized.
