To solve the problem in a method for reducing the sliding loss by reducing the sliding area by forming a cut by providing a step to an upper shaft of a shaft against the upper shaft diameter which causes decrease in the shaft diameter of the upper shaft part of a shaft, thereby lowering the rigidity of the shaft and degrading the reliability of a compressor, and to improve the efficiency while maintaining the rigidity of the shaft of the compressor.
A round groove of a diameter larger than the internal diameter of the upper bearing endplate 10 is formed on the inner diameter of the upper bearing endplate 10 to maintain the rigidity of the shaft 6, reduce sliding area of the shaft 6 and an upper bearing endplate 10, and reduce the sliding loss, thus a highly efficient compressor is realized.
