Title:
HIGH BULK-DENSITY GRANULAR DETERGENT COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3878704
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition in high productivity, as the starting composition is prevented from sticking to the apparatus in the granulation process by subjecting a mixture of spray-dried particles substantially free from surfactant and a surfactant to consolidation treatment and by crushing the consolidated product in the presence of a fine powder.
SOLUTION: The objective composition is obtained by subjection a mixture of (A) spray-dried particles containing (i) an inorganic alkali builder (for example, sodium carbonate or sodium sulfite) and (ii) an inorganic builder (for example, type A zeolite or bentonite and the like) and is substantially free from surfactant and (B) a surfactant (for example, nonionic surfactant, anionic surfactant) to consolidation treatment and by crushing the consolidated product in the presence of a fine powder (preferably having an average particle size of ≤50μm). The content of the component (i) is preferably 15-35wt.% and the component (ii) is 15-35wt.% in this composition. Thus, dust-raising properties is reduced, coagulation behaviors are inhibited, the solubilization properties are improved and the whiteness of the detergent particles is expected to increase.
