Abstract:
To provide a high-pressure steam sterilization device or a high-pressure steam sterilization method which can rapidly lower temperature as a whole with containers while preventing excessive power from being applied to the containers.SOLUTION: A high-pressure steam sterilization device 1 includes: a pressurizing vessel 200 for accommodating sterilization subjects 90; a heating device 300 for heating an inside of the pressurizing vessel; a nozzle disposed in the pressurizing vessel and for sprinkling the sterilization subjects with water; and a control device 100 for performing control so that the heating device raises a temperature of the inside of the pressurizing vessel to a first predetermined temperature while pressurizing the inside and the water is output from the nozzle 410 while a temperature of the water output from the nozzle is gradually lowered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
