PURPOSE: To increase the degree of freedom of the shape of the body to be polished, by forming a storage room in such width and shape that the body to be polished can be moved.

CONSTITUTION: The body 2 to be polished is stored and held in the storage room 5 fromed in the internal part of two holders 3, 3 by their weights and fixtures. The complicated stages of the sticking process, peeling off process, etc., thus become unnecessary. As a result, the processing cost becomes cheap and yet workability is improved. Also, the problem of the part to be pinched and held of the body 2 to be polished being not polished is also not caused. Further, the storage room 5 has such width and shape that the body 2 to be polished can be moved, in other words, it is made so as to be loosely pinched and held by two holders 3, 3, so the hazzardousness of the body 2 to be polished being chipped is eliminated.
