Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the high-diffraction efficiency hologram formable in spite of using a photoresist with which the formation of a high-diffraction efficiency relief hologram is not possible.
CONSTITUTION: This hologram is constituted by preparing two sheets of relief holograms; one sheet of a relief hologram 1 and another relief hologram 2 having the relief patterns of a mirror image relation with the hologram 1, superposing these holograms on each other in such a manner that the relief patterns of both coincide and that the relief surfaces of both come into contact with each other, interposing air, etc., 3 between hollow grooves of both and fixing the holograms 1, 2 by an adhesive 14 on the outer side of the effective region thereof. The value at which the depth of the effective ruggedness of the superposed holograms maximizes the diffraction efficiency is obtd. even if the relieves of the holograms 1, 2 are shallow.
