In this horizontally roofed roof, the waterproof roofing material 4 is arranged on rafters 1 arranged at a fixed pitch and a sheathing material 3 arranged between these rafters 1, and on the waterproof roofing material 4, horizontal roofing roof plates 5 are arranged in stepped form via clips 7. The waterproof roofing material 4 is constructed of a plurality of standing face plates 10 standing on the building side behind the clips 7 and slant plates 11 continueing from the upper end of the standing face plate 10 to its lower end on the building side, for supporting the horizontal roofing roof plates 5, and is molded integrally of a steel plate or a resin material.
