An image forming apparatus performs the printing of information which is stored in a storage medium by fitting the storage medium in a storage medium reading unit. The image forming apparatus includes a means which performs a communication with an image storing apparatus which can store an image to be printed when the printing is performed, and performs the storage of image data to be printed. Then, the printing of only the image data of which the storage has been completed is performed by the image forming apparatus.
