To provide an inkjet head which can uniformly suppress the remaining vibration of a pressure wave generated on an ink channel, and in which the discharge of an ink is stabilized.
This inkjet head comprises a base member 1 for which a channel wall 14 is formed in a manner to be separated by a channel groove 4, and a cover member 2. The inkjet head includes a gap section 7 which expands on the extension of a surface to which the channel wall 14 and the cover member 2 are bonded, and is used for attenuating a pressure wave. The inkjet head includes an organic protective membrane 6 which is arranged at least in the gap section 7. The gap section 7 is formed in such a manner that a distance between the surface of the organic protective member 6 which is arranged on the base member 1 and the surface of the organic protective member 6 which is arranged on the cover member 2 may become approximately uniform in the approximately vertical direction to the direction in which the channel wall 14 extends.
