Abstract:
To suppress generation of small pieces which are cut away from collector plates when bonding laminated collectors with the collector plates by ultrasonic welding.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a secondary battery includes the steps of: preparing an electrode body 13; and bonding laminated collectors 14 and 16 with collector plates 20 and 30 by ultrasonic welding. The step of bonding by the ultrasonic welding is implemented by applying ultrasonic vibration to a horn 40 in a direction vertical to a pressing direction in a state where the laminated collectors and the collector plates are pressed while being held between the horn and an anvil 50. The collector plate is fixed by fixing means so as not to move in the direction vertical to the pressing direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
