Abstract:
To provide methods for treating conditions and/or disorders related to hyperglycemia.SOLUTION: Provided is a pharmaceutical composition for treating a subject having diabetes mellitus and/or disorders related to diabetes mellitus consisting of (R)-(+)-verapamil or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The pharmaceutical composition is administered in combination with metformin as two independent pharmaceuticals.
