Abstract:
To provide a low-fouling hydrophilized polyether sulfone separation membrane which contains a hydrophilizing agent and polyether sulfone having a hydroxyphenyl group at the terminal thereof, hardly elutes the hydrophilizing agent and has hydrophilicity over a long period of time and to provide a method for producing the hydrophilized polyether sulfone separation membrane.
The hydrophilized polyether sulfone separation membrane contains the polyether sulfone and the hydrophilizing agent. The polyether sulfone has 25,000 number-average molecular weight at the least and the hydroxyphenyl group at the terminal thereof. The concentration of the hydroxyphenyl group in all terminal groups of the polyether sulfone is 60-100 mol%.
