Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce crimp deficiency and enhance productivity by comparing and inspecting a crimp waveform group of a good terminal, judging quality, and processing each deficient content. CONSTITUTION:A signal is inputted into a neural network 6 while a computer 5 learns a crimp waveform group of good and deficient terminals and, operating characteristics according to a change with the lapse of hours of a terminal crimp machine 1. A controller 8 controls operation of the crimp machine 1 according to the result calculated by the computer 5 on the basis of the learning and judges a quality so that a display 7 displays the result. When deficiency is displayed based on similarity of a waveform pattern as a reference of judgment of a quality, operation is stopped or a deficient terminal is discharged. Furthermore, the controller 8 finely adjusts a bottom dead center of an elevating crimper of a crank mechanism or electric wire centering. Consequently, it is possible to discharge a deficient crimp-type terminal at a high speed and enhance quality and reliability of a crimp-type terminal.
