PURPOSE: To perform image processing at high speed by providing an image storage part connected to a general-purpose bus and an image processing part for performing various kinds of processing to images stored in the image storage part.

CONSTITUTION: An image processing is executed by providing a general-purpose bus I/F part 1-1 for controlling interface with the general-purpose bus, an image storage part 1-2 to be accessed from the general-purpose bus and an image processing part 1-3 for performing various kinds of image processing to the image storage part, and at the same time the image processing part and the general-purpose bus can have access parallelly to the image storage part by adding a bus arbitration function 1-5 so as to gain access from the general-purpose bus to the image storage part.
