Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce film excellent in optical characteristics (haze, gloss and clarity) at high speed by a method wherein molten resin bubble is stabilized by bringing thermoplastic resin having small melt tension to long neck type form.
CONSTITUTION: While molten resin bubble 3 is taken off through an air ring 5 provided at the expansion point of the bubble, the temperature of the bubble at the outlet of the air ring is controlled so as to lie within the temperature domain ranging from the crystallization temperature of thermoplastic resin to the temperature, which is higher than the crystallization temperature by 60°C.
