To improve deicing efficiency by effectively utilizing deicing water in an ice making portion of a downflow-type ice making machine.
The ice making portion 11 is provided with a partitioning plate 30 approximately midway between linear portions 14a, 14a of evaporation pipes 14 vertically adjacent to each other at a rear face of an ice making plate 12. The partitioning plate 30 is composed of a plate body 32 laterally extending and kept into contact with the rear face of the ice making plate 12, an extending portion 34 projecting from a side edge of the plate body 32 to be correlatively fitted to a groove portion 18, and a recessed portion 36 formed on a side edge kept into contact with the rear face of the ice making plate 12, of the plate body 32 in a notched state. The deicing water falling on the groove portion 18 of the ice making plate 12 is guided to a plate body 32 side through the extending portion 34, and falls down to a lower stage through the recessed portion 36.
