Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of a malfunction in the engagement of a pinion resulting from the deterioration of the accuracy of a rotation prediction value during an engine rotation lowering period at an idling stop of a manual vehicle.SOLUTION: An idling stop control device is employed to a vehicle which comprises an engine 10, a transmission 13, a clutch device 12 and a starter device 40. An ECU 30 automatically stops the engine 10 on condition that the vehicle is in a neutral state, and transited to a transmission state from a block state of the clutch device 12. Also, the ECU calculates a rotation detection value of the engine 10, and calculates a rotation prediction value on the basis of a plurality of the rotation detection values in a rotation lowering period. Furthermore, when performing an automatic restart in the rotation lowering period, the ECU performs the engagement of a pinion 41 on the basis of the rotation prediction value and a prescribed engagement rotation speed. Furthermore, the ECU limits the execution of the automatic restart when the occurrence of a prescribed clutch operation is determined.
