Title:
IGNITION COIL FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2789326
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of high-frequency noise in a put-in-a-plug- hole type ignition coil.
SOLUTION: A waterproof cover 51 which keeps the watertightness of a plug hole 32 by being fitted to both the opened part of a plug hole 32 and an ignition coil 10, is made of an elastic conductive member. The waterproof cover 51 is also brought into contact with the surface of a conductive case 14 of the ignition coil 10. As the result of this, a floating capacity CH produced between the conductive case 14 and wall surface of the plug hole 32 is shunted by a resistance Rs which the waterproof cover 51 has.
