Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil of an internal-combustion engine, which will not vibrate, even if the vehicle vibrates.
SOLUTION: This ignition coil has a primary and a secondary coil bobbins, both disposed concentrically and wound with a primary and a secondary coils respectively, a iron core forming a magnetic circuit through the inside and outside of both bobbins, an insulation case housing them, and a protector connected with an ignition plug. Since the wall of the insulation case 11 is made thin at the side of a bracket 14 for attaching the case but made thicker at the other side, the ignition coil of the internal-combustion engine will not vibrate, even if the vehicle vibrates.
