Abstract:
To provide an ignition timing control device of an internal combustion engine which is improved so as to be capable of suppressing the generation of knocking resulting from a difference of intake air humidity.SOLUTION: A humidity correction factor khmd corresponding to base ignition timing aegrb is calculated (step S104). A memory of an engine electronic control unit may store a characteristic of the humidity correction factor in a form of a map or a calculation expression or the like in advance, and the humidity correction factor khmd may be decided by referring to the stored map. A characteristic corresponding to the base ignition timing aegrb is selected from the map, and the humidity correction factor khmd corresponding to relative humidity is specified on the basis of a humidity value which is acquired in a step S100. In the step A104, a humidity correction term khmd is calculated so that a degree of an increase correction by EGR correction means is decreased as the humidity of intake air becomes high.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
