Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus attaining a display which is easy to use for a user.
A screen based on image display and not containing any writing inscriptions is displayed with priority on a screen for a user to set image forming conditions necessary for execution of a job. The screen based on the image display based on the input of the user is switched to a corresponding screen containing writing inscriptions. Thus, the display which is intuitive and easy to comprehend for the user is made possible. Furthermore, with no need to read writing for the user in the screen on the basis of image display, no knowledge of language nor knowledge of technical terms is required.
