Abstract:
To provide a management system that can perform maintenance of an image forming apparatus based on the state of generation of noise in a synchronization signal.SOLUTION: An abnormality prediction system 100 comprises an image forming apparatus 101, a server 103, and a management device 104. The image forming apparatus 101 includes a scanner unit 201 that generates image data of a read document and transfers the image data in synchronization with a synchronization signal; a scan image processing unit 305 that performs image processing on the image data received from the scanner unit 201; and a noise mask unit 601 that executes mask processing of removing noise generated in the synchronization signal. The image forming apparatus 101 transmits characteristic extraction data 311 of the image forming apparatus 101 including noise information to the management device 104 through the server 103. The management device 104 predicts the details of maintenance of the image forming apparatus 101 based on the characteristic extraction data 311 of the image forming apparatus 101 received from the server 103.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
