A reference value storage section 210 outputs a signal denoting a reference value of a result of applying color conversion to an image signal (color signal) 111 received from an image input section, and a difference storage section 220 outputs a concerned difference (a difference between a conversion result and the reference value at a concerned output position) on the basis of the image signal 111 received from the image input section and an output position signal 112. A conversion result calculation section 230 summates the reference value input from the reference value storage section 210 to the difference input from the difference storage section 220 to calculate the color conversion result and outputs it as an image recording signal 121.
