Abstract:

To provide an image forming system which realizes a preferable color reproduction.

A printer 10 combines an aging correction table for realizing an aging variation correcting process for suppressing the aging color variation, with a spatial correcting table for realizing a spatial variation correcting process for suppressing the spatial color variation, to generate a composite correcting table. The printer 10 corrects an input image with referring to the generated composite correcting table, thereby executing the aging variation correcting process and the spatial variation correcting process at a more high speed. A plurality of correction processes in a multiple step are collected into a one-step correcting process, thereby suppressing the accumulation of quantized errors.
