Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that facilitates take-out of a cured waste developer from a recovery container to improve workability of disposal processing.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 comprises: an image carrier 13; a developing device 16; recovery means 34, 47, and L7 that recover a waste developer; a recovery container 35 that stores the waste developer; and curing means 37 that cures the waste developer in the recovery container 35. The recovery container 35 is provided with an opening 35a for taking out, from the recovery container 35, the waste developer cured in the recovery container 35; the recovery container 35 has a handle member 57 arranged therein that is removably attached to the recovery container 35 through the opening 35a so that part of the handle member can be brought into contact with the waste developer cured in the recovery container 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
