Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce running cost by reusing untransferred toner and replacing respective units in accordance with their lives in an image forming device.
SOLUTION: Toner containers 6 and 7 are respectively provided with a developing roller 2 and a cleaning blade 5, and the containers 6 and 7 themselves have two functions such as a developing unit and a cleaner part. The containers 6 and 7 are arranged on both sides of a photoreceptor drum 1, the toner is supplied from the container 6, and the untransferred toner 8 is recovered in the container 7. When the toner in the container 6 functioning as the developing unit is depleted, the container 6 is replaced by the container 7 so as to reuse the untransferred toner 8 in the container 7.
