Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a feed roller heretofore used to stabilize the travel of paper and convey paper with accuracy only by a picking roller.
SOLUTION: Paper feeding mechanism is composed of a sensor arm 3 for detecting the skew feed of paper 1, a picking roller 10 that can correct the conveyed direction of the paper 1, and a link arm 4 for transmitting the motion of the sensor arm 10 to the picking roller 10. When the paper 1 is fed skew in a direction B, the right end of the paper 1 pushes a rising part 3b of the sensor arm 3. The sensor arm 3 thereby moves in the direction of an arrow mark B. At the same time, a cam 6 also moves in the direction of the arrow mark B, and the cam face of the cam 6 pushes the link arm 4 in the direction of an arrow mark D, so that a bearing part 4a of the link arm 4 pushes a rotary shaft 2 of the picking roller 10 in the direction of the arrow mark D. The rotary shaft 2 is therefore rotated in the direction of an arrow mark E around a fulcrum 8, and the direction of the picking roller 10 is changed in a reverse direction to the skew direction (B-direction) of the paper 1, so that the skew feed of the paper 1 is corrected.
