PURPOSE: To provide a film easily allowing the detection of its existence at the time of the image formation of an image forming device without hindering the image of the film after the image formation by providing a low-transmission section of light at one end section so that the light transmission factor of the low-transmission section is improved after a toner image is transferred in the image forming device.
CONSTITUTION: An image forming translucent film 1 has a lowtransmission section 13 at part of the tip section 12 of the back face 11 of the film 1, and the light transmission factor of the low-transmission section 13 is improved when it is heated at the fixing section of an image forming device. When the film 1 is fed into the image forming device and reaches the detection position, the presence of the film 1 is detected because the light transmission factor of the low-transmission section 13 is lower than that of the other portion, or it is detected that the film 1 is a translucent film. The light transmission factor of the low-transmission section 13 is improved because the film 1 passes through the fixing section or another light transmission factor improving means after a toner image is transferred on the film 1.
