Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output device for preventing a jam from being generated by preventing switching for paper sheet discharge passages from sensitively reacting to the movement of a document tray at a low cost and preventing the document tray from being suddenly moved to a user during the paper sheet conveyance.
SOLUTION: In this image output devise 1, an image reading device 2 mounted with an operation panel P is installed on the upper part, a printing device 3 is installed on the lower part, a paper sheet is discharged through a horizontal straight paper sheet discharge passage by a switching claw 31 when the upper part of a paper sheet stacker 26 is covered by displacing a document tray 6, and a paper sheet is discharged through a reversing paper sheet discharge passage by the switching claw 31 when the document tray 6 is turned down to the operation panel P. When the document tray 6 covers the paper sheet stacker 26, a movable member 35 is rotated, and the switching claw 31 is released toward the straight paper sheet discharging passage. When the document tray 6 is turned over toward the operation panel P, the switching claw 31 is closed toward the reversing paper sheet discharge passage.
