Abstract:
To provide an image processing apparatus, image processing method and digital still camera capable of performing appropriate image processing even in such a photographing situation that sufficient range-finding accuracy cannot be obtained.
On the basis of reliability of information on a distance to a subject corresponding to input image data, it is determined whether or not the distance information is to be corrected. If the distance information is to be corrected, the relevant distance information is corrected into corrected distance information and on the basis of the corrected distance information, image processing is performed on the input image data.
