Abstract:

To provide an image processing device for displaying an image capable of enhancing the operability and realistic sensation.

The image processing device include: a first object control means for changing a direction or travelling direction of a first object in a three-dimensional space by a prescribed procedure and moving the first object in the changed direction or travelling direction; a virtual camera control means for determining a photographing direction of a virtual camera in the three-dimensional space in such a way as to gradually follow the direction or travelling direction of the first object determined by the first object control means, and photographing the first object in the photographing direction; and a display data-creating means for creating display data based on the virtual camera. The virtual camera control means includes: a detection means for detecting whether the first object is shielded by another object or not as seen from the virtual camera; and a first following changing means for raising the degree of making the photographing direction of the virtual camera follow the direction or travelling direction of the first object based on the result of detection.
