Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device for a part feeder, and the part feeder, capable of reducing a time until quality distinction processing of a work ends after imaging of the work is started.SOLUTION: An image processing device applied to a part feeder 100 including a camera imaging works 3 conveyed along a conveyance path 10 adopts a line camera 2 having a plurality of imaging elements arranged orthogonally to a conveyance direction of the works 3, and sequentially imaging the works 3 passing an imaging position P1 set on the conveyance path 10 to acquire a plurality of pieces of image data in each work 3. The image processing device includes: image take-in means 40 for immediately taking in the image data acquired by the imaging; preprocessing means 41 for jointing the image data taken-in by the image take-in means 40 in photographing order to generate composite image data in which an approximate whole of the single work 3 appears; and attitude distinction means 44 for distinguishing an attitude of the work 3 on the basis of the composite image data generated in the preprocessing means 41.
