Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method capable of enhancing a reduction effect of a streak-like image failure as compared with a conventional method.SOLUTION: There is provided an image processing method in which calculation processing for calculating correction information based on a result of the measurement of color information on a correction chart output before and after the correction is executed a plurality of times for each of a plurality of colors used for image formation, and image data is corrected based on the calculated correction information, the correction information being associated with a correction value for acquiring a target output value for each combination of a plurality of density values and a plurality of positions in a main scanning direction. Of the calculation processing executed a plurality of times, the correction information is destroyed when unevenness in the main scanning direction is larger than a correction result of the correction chart previous time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
