Abstract:
To accurately trace a target movable body in a moving image even when a change between images can not approximated by affine transformation and an area to be traced of the target movable body is a small.
In an image processing method for tracing the target movable body in the moving image comprises a background color estimation process (step A1) for estimating a background color of the moving image, a reference histogram preparation process (step A2) for preparing a reference histogram which is a color histogram of a reference area of the target movable body by removing the estimated background color and a tracing processing process (step A3) for tracing the target movable body by color histogram matching using the reference histogram.
