PURPOSE: To easily create the filing margin on the recording paper by maintaining constant the relation of the position between the image read from the one frame image according to the output signal of detector and the image to be printed according to the output signal of reading medium.
CONSTITUTION: The read signal for the image area specified by cursor 40, 19 and 23, 24 on a screen 17 is sent to the printing means, a printer 32, and the image of area specified cursors operated by an operator and the image of filing margin portion is recorded on the printing paper. If, for example, (d)∼(f), (g)∼(i) is specified by right edge of cursor 40, and points of cursors 19, 23, 24 as the desired image area in the image projected on the screen 17, the image specified by the points of cursors 19, 23, 24 and left edge of cursor 40 is printed on the paper. Namely, the width Z which corresponds with the width of cursor 40 can be used for filing margin on the printing paper.
