CONSTITUTION: In a image recorder which is constituted so that an image is recorded by executing a prescribed printing action on a prescribed form by a recording processing means 3, a RAM 4 for storing a first prescribed counted number, an EEP-ROM 5 for storing a second prescribed counted number, a first count means 1 updating the first counted number stored in the RAM 4 so as to add one to the first counted number according as the prescribed frequency of printing actions is executed by the processing means 3, and a second count means 1 updating the second counted number stored in the EEP- ROM 5 so as to add one to the second counted number according as the first counted number arrives at the positive number times as large as the prescribed reference number of sheets are provided.
